The American Advertising Awards in Arizona highlights the finest advertising efforts and celebrates the growth and evolution of creative work from those across Arizona.
The Awards
Organized by the AAF Phoenix Ad Club, the awards ceremony is held each spring, honoring those winners at an annual gala.
The local awards have become more successful over the years, with a record number of Gold ADDY recipients each year. The local winners then move on to the regional and possibly national competition.
The national ADDYS takes place over the summer and is the largest creative competition in the states, attracting creative excellence in the advertising business.
Specialty awards are given out which include Creative Professional of the Year, Woman of Excellence Award, Young Person of the Year, and Ad Person of the Year.
Other awards are awarded for Art Direction of the Year, Copywriting of the Year, and many more.
The AAF
The mission of the AAF Phoenix (the local affiliate of the American Advertising Federation) is to elevate creativity, community, and collaborations in the Phoenix advertising community.
The organization has made a mark in the creative advertising industry across the state for over 80 years. They are committed to being the resource for education, growth, support, and success of the local advertising community. Members of the AAF Phoenix are deeply involved in the advertising community along with the local ADDY awards.
Phoenix is the hub for creative marketing and is leading in the industry of remarkable advertisers and creative geniuses. This is why the ADDY awards in Arizona keep growing each year. There is stiff competition across the state, and the ADDY awards give these advertisers a chance to shine after all of the hard work they have put in.

This year the ADDY’s will take place at the Phoenix Art Museum and will honor all of those who won an award. After the gala takes place, there will be a gallery of images posted on their site here for anyone to browse.
